A love of the early decades (the 20s-40s) spurred Teen's interest in swing dancing back in 2004. A friend whispered tales of a place that taught it (You know the one) right here in Colorado Springs. The beginning east coast swing lessons only taunted her desire to dance. She quickly found herself in class after class all over the front range from Lindy to offshoots such as shag. Within a year she began to teach the beginning lessons and eventually joined on as a regular instructor with Focus.

Teen grew up dancing and has done many types of dance including; Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Argentine Tango, African, Modern, Hebraic, some Ballroom, and many varieties of swing. Teen's favorite still remains the Lindy hop and Charleston. "I love how loose and silly you can be. The stupider you feel the better you look! What's not to love!"

Despite planning a wedding and a full time career, Teen still enjoys pushing her dancing to the next level through workshops, classes, private lessons, and just dancing.
