Swing in the Springs' teaching group 'FOCUS' offers weekly drop in lessons designed to improve your swing dancing skills. Our classes break into four major categories: Essentials, Intermediate, Routines, and Special Topics.
Essentials
Our Essentials beginner series of classes FOCUS on the critical building blocks of swing dancing: Connection and Movement.
These classes will set a foundation of dance skills for you to build upon, and are designed to be revisited as your understanding of these concepts deepens and grows.

Intermediate
Our Intermediate series of classes FOCUS on building your vocabulary of movement, and infusing your dancing with style and flair.

Routines
Our Routines series of classes FOCUS on connecting movement to the music.
In these classes, your instructors will teach a short choreographed dance routine, which you will perform later that night at the dance.
Make sure to ask the instructors which routine they are teaching, it may be a new number, or a chance to master a routine you've already learned!

Special Topics

Workshops and Special Events
